I bought this hat for a trip to southern Europe because I knew it would be HOT. The hat fit nicely - it was a little snug which was great for keeping it put when the wind gusted. It kept the sun off my face and was cool and light and many times I forgot I was wearing it. It bounced right back to shape after being packed in my checked luggage. The sage green is a really pretty light green color! -- Nice Sun Hat
This is a really nice hat, high quality made, very packable, which I like since I wanted it for travel. However for me, the brim was too wide. If you want that, then it's perfect for you. It would make a great beach or pool hat. -- Nice hat though brim too wide for me
I love my floppy hat! It definitely kept me cool and out of the sun at the beach! The only thing is that...I typically have a pretty small/average size head and it seems a little shallow. Like it isn't deep enough to fit well so it easily blows off in the wind, etc. But, that's my only complaint. Good deal for the price. -- Gotta love my floppy hat!
I bought two of these hats --one for my 10-YO DD and one for myself. Both of us like the look of the hat, it does a nice job of keeping the sun off, and it will no doubt travel nicely due to its packability.

However, both of us have a lot of problems keeping the hat from blowing off even in a slight breeze. Neither of us have had trouble with hats being too small in the past, so I'm not inclined to think that our heads are larger than most. In my opinion, the "one size" really should be a tad larger --or at least it would be extremely helpful if the manufacturers would include the head circumference measurement in the product details.

We're heading off for a beach vacation this week, and in order for the hats to make the trip (which is the main reason I purchased them), I'm going to need to sew in some ribbon ties so we can keep them on our heads. Not ideal, but it should do the trick.

To avoid disappointment, my suggestion is to try to find this hat at a brick-and-mortar store where you can try it on before you make the purchase. -- Coolibar UPF 50+ Packable, Wide-Brim Sun Hat
